Firefighter Cancer Initiative

Posted & filed under News.

Cancer is a serious problem facing fire service workers. While risks do come with the job, there are ways to mitigate these risks.

Can you answer these questions?

What steps are we taking to prevent cancer; as an individual, Shift, Company, or as a Department?

What are we doing to address the Cancer in our Departments; DECON, Wipe Downs, or Training?

And the question that we all need to answer:

What am I doing to prevent cancer in the Fire Service?
