Chief Baldwin, Chief Kroboth and Dr. McDonald to Lead the CVVA in its 119th year

Chief Allen Baldwin, Chief Joe Kroboth and Dr. Candice McDonald will lead the CVVFA in 2020.

The new leadership team reflects proven leadership in the fire service, locally and nationally.

Chief Baldwin is the Operations Deputy Chief in Stafford County VA. He previously was Fire Chief in Winchester VA and Gettysburg PA. He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree and is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officers program at the National Fire Academy.

Chief Kroboth served as Fire Chief at the Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway MD. He is a Civic Engineer in Loudoun County VA. He holds an Engineering Degree and a Masters in Business Administration.

Dr. Candice McDonald works for NASA in the Office of Protective Services as a special agent, physical security specialist and contracting officer representative. She is a volunteer firefighter/EMT. Candice is a nationally recognized speaker on Fire Service Reputation Management and Recruitment and Retention. She earned her PHD in Business Administration.
