Dominion Energy Resources Grants for Virginia Volunteer Fire Departments are Open. You may have read in The Virginia Firefighter or seen the news on the VSFA website; Dominion Energy’s foundation provided a $50,000 grant to the association to establish a grant program for 2023. This is their first foray into a partnership with Virginia firefighters, and we could not be more pleased that they selected our association as their partner. If your VSFA membership is current, your company is eligible (if your membership is not current or you want to join, visit the VSFA website at www.vsfa.org and click on the Membership tab, then Join or Renew). The pool of money will be divided into small grants capped at $2,500 and the application process is fairly simple. For details, search for “grant” and you’ll find news about the donation, a QR code to reach the application, and a telephone number to call if you have any trouble with it. The deadline for applications has been extended to May 15, 2023.
