The National Volunteer Fire Council will host a special roundtable at its upcoming spring board meeting entitled “Cancer Prevention and Awareness in the Volunteer Fire Service.” Those not attending the meeting are invited to join the presentation online via a live streaming event.
The cancer roundtable will take place on May 6 from 3:30-4:30pm EDT. The event will feature expert panelists working in the area of firefighter cancer prevention and awareness. Remote attendees will be able to ask the panelists questions during the event via an online tool. The live stream will be available here.
