One man is dead after a fire early Thursday morning in Montgomery County.
The fire happened in the 3200 block of Peppers Ferry Road, which is near Belview Elementary School.
The fire was reported at 7:50 a.m. Thursday. Investigators say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
Both the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and firefighters from Christiansburg were on the scene.
The fire spread to different parts of the house. No word on where the victim was found inside the home.
