Are you interested in providing an educational session at the 2026 Conference /Expo?

This is the official "call for presentations" for the Virginia State Firefighters Conference/Expo. August 6,7,8, 2026. The Conference will be held in Wytheville, Virginia .

Presentation subject matter can include but is not limited to: strategy and tactics; EMS, ICS, leadership; management; safety and health; recruitment & retention, new initiatives/concepts/trends; case studies; etc.

16.0 hour program Thursday, Friday, August 6 -7 or Friday, Saturday ,August 7 -8

Typically, we will cover lodging and travel if necessary; and provide a full conference registration to chosen presenters. Except for special circumstances, reimbursement is for a maximum of one presenter for 1 to 1.5 hour sessions; and a maximum of two presenters for all other sessions.

Since the Conference/Expo is for the benefit of 1st responders, any expenses related to your presentation that can be absorbed by you or your organization would be greatly appreciated.

As a member of the VSFA, this is a great opportunity to pass along your knowledge and expertise to the current and future leaders of the fire & EMS service.
