KING WILLIAM — The county’s top administrator plans to increase leadership and financial oversight in the county’s fire and rescue system.
County Administrator Ken Griffin has recommended morphing the coordinator position into a county-wide fire and emergency services chief. The move comes less than two weeks after former Emergency Services Coordinator Chris Bruce left to take a job with the state.
