Woman won’t get new attorney in E. Shore arson case

The woman charged with setting more than 60 fires on the Eastern Shore will not be granted a new attorney, a judge ruled.

Tonya S. Bundick’s request for different legal representation was denied Thursday in Accomack County Circuit Court. Bundick recently sent two letters to the court inquiring about the process for having a court-appointed lawyer removed from a case.

“I don’t find the legal advice I am given to be in my best interests,” she wrote.

Father and son Allan and A. Christopher Zaleski have represented Bundick at both trials she has faced so far.
